Stealth fighter inspired Lamborghini supercar on sale for £850,000

Lamborghini's have never been cheap, but the Reventon model that is currently on sale for £850,000 makes their other cars look 'reasonably priced' in comparison.
Inspired by the F22-Raptor fighter jet, the car is the most expensive Lamborghini ever built. Only 20 Reventon's were made between 2007 and 2008, with the models only sold to favoured customers, not on the open market.
The angular styling of the Reventon was taken from the sharp lines of the F22, along with the dull grey paint scheme. The car also features a G-Force meter which gives the driver the impression of being in a mach-2 fighter plane cockpit.
Powered by a huge 6.5 litre V12 engine that develops 650bhp, the Reventon can reach top speeds of 211 miles per hour and a 0-60 acceleration time of 3.4 seconds. Power like this may be a bit much for the average motorist and car insurance policy holder!
Surrey Lamborghini specialists SuperVettura are advertising a 2008 Reventon that has covered just 1000 miles for £849,000 - compared to the £800,000 when new.
The Lamborghini is the only model currently in the UK and is causing a stir amongst potential investors who see the vehicle as a real blue chip investment.
"The Lamborghini Reventon cannot be compared to anything else produced by the famous sports cars maker," said Tommy Whareham of SuperVettura.
"It's exclusivity is second to no other car in the range - it is simply exquisite, encompassing everything Lamborghini stands for."
