The driver of a supermarket delivery lorry ended up stuck in the mud on a rural run, after a sat-nav slip-up.
According to BBC News, the hapless driver was marooned on a remote road in North Wales as he drove to Caenarfon with 40 tonnes of produce on board.
The lorry, which ended up with its cab at a right-angle to the country road at Cwm Pennaner in Conwy, belongs to the Stobart Group, and was pulling a Tesco-branded trailer at the time.
It was being driven by an agency driver, who, according to the haulage company, was "inexperienced" and had "incorrectly coded his sat-nav".
But the Snowdonia Society, a charity which promotes and protects the park, was critical of the incident.
It claims that the mistake is far from a one one-off, with juggernauts regularly "rat-running" through the park instead of sticking to the main A55 route.
Society director Alan Pugh said: "GPS technology is well-proven and it is quite possible for manufacturers to program their machines to avoid sending huge trucks through narrow lanes where they pose a serious safety hazard."
"We have raised this matter with officials at the Trunk Roads department", he added.
The Stobart Group hoped to remove the lorry on Monday.
