He may have missed out on the dream match with Roger Federer, but Andy Murray kept the competitive juices flowing during Sunday's Wimbledon final - by tearing up the go-karting track.
The British number one - whose progress was snuffed out in the semis by Andy Roddick - was putting in some practice ahead of his first driving lessons this week.
And while he may be the third best in the world when he takes to the tennis courts, out on the open road it could be a different matter.
Writing on his Twitter micro blogging account, Andy pointed to a win on the go-kart track, but warned drivers to stay off the roads when he takes his lessons.
On his way to let off steam at the track, Andy also used the forum to emphatically scotch rumours that he had reacted badly to his semi-final loss by breaking all his racquets.
"More lies!!" he wrote.
During the championships, Andy relied on girlfriend Kim Sears to ferry him about in a little Ford Ka , and he is also reputedly a fan of London's underground system.
