Motorists driving aggressively in Scotland in the future can expect to be flashed - by the bus in front of them.
In a new scheme, buses will be fitted with a device that keeps an eye on the vehicle behind them.
If the following vehicle is seen to break the Highway Code's two-second rule - by driving too fast or too close - the bus will flash up the current speed limit.
The scheme's being launched by the Environmental Transport Association (ETA), whose director Andrew Davis said. "Overtaking large vehicles can be treacherous, so the back-end of a bus is an ideal place to remind drivers if they are speeding or tailgating."
The system is due to be fitted to Stagecoach buses that run between Fraserburgh, Peterhead and Aberdeen.
