Can you insure my performance car?

What if my car is modified?
We hate to say "it depends" but, well, it depends. What's the type of modification? If it's bigger speakers or luxury floor mats, there shouldn't be a problem.
But we guess you're talking about performance modifications - perhaps you've had your pride and joy turbocharged or chipped, or fitted wider wheels. It's the extent of the modification, how much it affects performance and who did it, that will decide if we're able to quote or how much your premium will be.
As every modified car is different, we can't give hard and fast rules. So please call us on 0333 220 2086 to discuss it.

Make sure you tell us about all the modifications, even if they don't seem significant. Failing to inform us could invalidate your insurance.
What if my car is imported?
You may have gone to a lot of trouble to import a car you specially wanted, so it could seem a bit unfair that we charge you more to insure it. But that might be because it was designed for use in other countries, rather than in the UK or EU.
